1 Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay entitled Shopping Online VS Shopping In-Store. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words according to the following guidelines: Generally speaking, going shopping offers you a leisure time and an enjoyable experience, but it is time-consuming and energy-demanding. Besides, online goods are really cheap and help save much money sometimes, especially during holidays. On the other hand, the disadvantages of shopping online cannot be ignored. The real goods may not be the same as what they look like online. To make matters worse, we are likely to buy some fake goods since some shops on the Internet are not formally registered.
Personally, I prefer shopping in-store to shopping online. The most important reason is that I can have a leisure time and enjoy myself most when I go shopping with the company of my friends. In the meanwhile, I can feel and try on anything I want to buy and see the effect of clothing worn on my body in physical clothes stores.

参考答案：The phenomenon of keeping pets is nothing strange nowadays. When it comes to the topic whether it’s good for people to keep pets or not, people hold different kinds of opinions.
Some people maintain that it’s good to keep pets in the house, especially for the elders. The pets can keep them company as well as make them feel safe. As for kids, keeping pets around them makes them more caring and compassionate, which is quite a good way for young parents to educate their children. Moreover, some pets can also look after the house when there’s no one at home.
However, others argue that keeping pets does more harm than good. In their opinion, keeping pets is not healthy since pets may have some viruses with them which you don’t even know. And also, pets’ defecating casually makes cities dirty. What’s more, some large pets especially large dogs may be a danger and even hurt people when they are not tied outside.
As far as I am concerned, whether it’s good to keep a pet or not depends on the situation. Due to people’s different preferences, we should respect people’s right to keep a pet only if one keeps pets well-treated and is sure not to threaten other people’s safety.
